When we shine a light on dark places, we begin the process of uncovering and addressing issues that are often overlooked or hidden from public view. By ‘shining a light,’ Survivor Advocates and Community Based Organizations can help ensure that the critically important issues of Human Trafficking, Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, Organized Abuse, and Domestic Violence receive the attention they deserve, leading to greater understanding, support, and ultimately, lasting change and healing throughout our communities.
